MadeWithStack is a product directory that lets founders submit products and share the tools they used to build them.

2. Information We Collect

We collect data you provide directly, including:

  • Product submission details: name, URL, description, and selected tools
  • Optional founder details: founder name and X/Twitter handle
  • Optional submitter email for submission communication

For admin operations, we process password-protected admin access and store a temporary admin session value in browser session storage.

3. How We Use Information

  • Review and moderate submissions
  • Publish approved product listings in the directory
  • Operate and improve the service
  • Send operational notifications to admins about new submissions

We do not use submitted contact data for third-party marketing list sales.

4. Lawful Basis and Consent

We process information to provide the service, enforce our terms, and maintain platform safety. When you submit optional data, you consent to its processing for these purposes.

5. Service Providers and Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure and operational providers needed to run the service, including:

  • Supabase for database and application data storage
  • Postmark for transactional notification email delivery
  • Hosting and deployment providers for runtime infrastructure

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

6. Data Retention

We retain submission data for as long as needed to operate the directory, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data you submitted by contacting us at the email below.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
